Title change

Title change! woah.

Initally this project was supposed to be a cat mario rip off and was really made to just make people mad. Hence the name of the files ANGER. After a few talks with the team over the past week I've finally found a story and title that I like and that I think is going to make this game successful.

The Voices In My Head - Title. This game isn't about the main character at all. In fact you are really just playing one of the side characters in the narrator's story. Hence the title. The reason why we kept the "the" is because the story isn't about voices in your head, it's about THE voices in your head. I believe that moving the title like this removes the emphasis on MY and moves it to THE which is a better portrayal of the story.

SKIP THIS IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS

Time for the story. From the get go I've taken a completely different approach to this game than I have any project before it. I always start with the why or the what. What is the game about, why is this character doing something. For this game I started with the how, the base mechanics. And for some reason that makes this process extremely difficult. In my other games I've had a hard time coming up with things to do besides listen to a story and in this game I've found things to do but no idea how to put a story to it. But here are the preliminary results after 3 sticky notes.
You are a character/AI/Prisoner kept in a box that the narrator looks after. The narrator's job is to essentially keep you in that box or keep you distracted. Here's the kicker, you get to choose the narrator that looks after your box. That's where I believe this games gold comes in. You get to shape the entire game by picking a narrator that fits you!

Next devlog will be hopefully a bigger installment of the game
