Day 2: ...Routing.


Day Two: Gamer

"This world, this empty black, it is such a cold and cruel place".

A line that has been running throughout my head since this endeavor has been taken up, to create a game in 30 days. 

On my end, there has been much focus on brainstorming. Everything has to be concise, as scientific instruments should. There are many signals to find, but the question is which ones are worth finding out by the prisoner, which ones would be helpful, and which ones would prove to be most catastrophic. There are many ways in which the script of the lost signals could go, so there is a need to collaborate with my SCA associate Stylish. However, I am under the understanding that the game is meant to be psychological horror and filled with dread, which I feel is more of my area of expertise when it comes to writing. 

There already has been a collaborative effort here among those of the SCA. We have discussed the parameters of what we are wanting to achieve, and how we can get there. Currently, there is more of a brainstorming happening on either end, between Stylish and I. Which I believe to be a good thing, as it helps us to find a track and stick with it as we develop this game. As of this moment, I am quite excited to see where this game will take us by the end of the 30 days, hopefully into a new era for those here at the SCA.
